"Tips & Techniques for Better Drawing" with Laura Hickman

This class workshop is for those who wouyld like to improve their drawing skills. The students will learn how to observe three-dimensional objects abnd transcribe them onto a two-dimensional surface. Contour line, positive/negative space relationships, proportion and sighting techniques will be explored, as well as the simple principles of perspective. The class will progress to using light and shadow with tonal drawing.

Fee: $80.00 for the all day workshop
Materials List: An 18x24 or 16x20 pad of paper such as Strathmore 300 or 400. Drawing pencils HB, 2B Plastic eraser, such as Staedtler, Pencil Sharpener, an HB or 2B Graphite Stick.
