Growing up at the Jersey shore, Dale has continued in the artistic tradition of her family, her father and grandfather having designed many public monuments and memorials. She studied at Philadelphia’s Moore College of Art and graduated from the University of Maryland, living in the Washington, DC area for many years before moving to Rehoboth Beach. Her first memory of art was painting "plein air" in a neighbor’s garden when she was five years old.....that was the beginning of a life-long love of art.
Now primarily a studio painter, she enjoys collecting images and impressions from travels around the world. An award winning artist, she is a founding member of the Delaware Watercolor Society, a member of Potomac Valley Watercolorists, and a signature member of Baltimore Watercolor Society.
