Continuing to explore the unending possibilities of working with hot and cold glass, Justin has been expanding his body of work while pushing himself to experiment with new designs and techniques. He creates sculptural and functional pieces that emphasize depth, layers, light transference and the relationship between interiors and exteriors. Playing off of glass’ natural tendencies, Justin tries to maintain a fluidity and grace throughout his work, making even physically heavy pieces appear visually light. His work showcases his fascination with glass as a medium, and his passion for the processes by which these pieces are created. Though at times influenced by classic forms, he gives all of his pieces a contemporary touch.
