Using traditional easel painting materials and techniques, I have been producing art work for over forty years. A graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a Masters degree from Catholic University, I currently live in Fenwick Island and enjoy the scenic beauty the area provides.
My early career was spent as an artist and illustrator. Currently, I consider myself a realist painter specializing in still life, landscape, and figure painting in oil. I have a firm foundation in drawing, anatomy, and design. I collect, grind my own pigments, and make my own oil mediums. I enjoy touring museums and have spent most of my life studying the works of the Old Masters which have greatly influenced my work.
